Yes, we can buy your car, but the car finance will need to be settled. When you contact us we will assess your personal situation to work out the best way of selling your car and getting any finance settled.

The 2 most common options are as follows:

  • You can settle the outstanding balance directly with your finance company, we will need written confirmation of this from your finance company when we collect the car
  • We can settle the finance on your behalf, you will need to obtain a settlement figure directly from the finance company. Data protection laws require that you obtain the settlement figure, which we require in writing from them. We can then deduct the outstanding amount from the valuation of your car and pay the balance to the finance company.

No problem! We can buy your car even if you don’t have the original V5 document or log book, although you will need to provide some proof of address such as a utility bill or bank statement.

Alternatively, you can obtain a new V5 registration document by downloading and filling in form V62 from Directgov. The completed form and any fee should be sent to DVLA, Swansea SA99 1AR. It normally takes 3 to 4 weeks to obtain a new V5. Form V62 is also available from your nearest Post Office, or you can download it from here.
